10 days ago, some of us believed the world was bidding its sweetest farewell. Just a few paragraphs would not suffice when it comes to describing the events of 2012. However, it was nonetheless a year of "realisations" scattered with little doses of epiphanies around the 12 month clock.

Time has never been a friendly friend of mine– counting the moments I wished seconds to trickle down slowly to the instances I killed for it to whiz past. Regardless of this volatile relationship with this little trickster called 'Time', I welcome 2013 with open hands and a greater sense of a state of mind.

Release from the grip of the perennial school funk has finally graced my shoulders as the semester comes to a close. I could and (would) say that that had been the worst one yet. But then again, I will apologetically take back my words with before the letters find and asphyxiate me in October.

2 years a little too late but I welcome this new furry friend from the Lanvin x H&M collection (circa 2010) with the widest arms I can extend. Flocculent with a coat that seem to issue a life of its own, the humidity sure did taunt me to turn into one savage fur ball myself.

Spent the last several minutes watching the Sun bite into dusk today. Therapeutic yet ominous for the closure of another day. School's back for haunting in less than 24 hours, and I'll be praying for the next six months for unrestrained living.

It all boils down to details. 

Life has been jam packed with morning coffee runs, 12 hour shoots, the most unfavoured 9 AM commute via buses, impromptu writing (I would like to believe it as "unprecedented bleeding on paper") for the magazine, and not forgetting basking in ephemeral contentment with the friends I love. 

Steering away from narcissism now...
